    Howdy,

I am in the process of rebuilding the transfer case cand found that there is a lot of wear in the level pivot bushing. I have not found a replacement and before I take this to a machine shop I thought I would reach out to see if anyone has a solution. I have provided a couple of photos to clarify my question.

That appears to be WAY more than just wear. Was the "shaft" replaced? It would take all of about 10 minutes to make a proper bushing on a lathe.

The bushing can be removed and a new one pressed into it. Once the old bushing has been removed, measure the outside dimensions and the shaft dimensions and go to NAPA or online and buy a new one. You should be able to get a bushing with the correct outside dimensions and after pressing it in, drill the inside to fit the shaft on a drill press. I guess I'm making the assumption that a drill press and press are available.

There is a place here in Texas called Bohls Bearing, There are several locations across the state, they have every sized bushing known to man. give em a try.

McMaster-Carr also has a pretty encompassing selection of bushings.

I agree with this. I just replaced mine last week. Literally had the bushing in the Hardware section at my local Lowes. No drilling was required. All that was needed was to file down the ever-so-slightly mushroomed end of the shaft. The bushing was also too long, but a Dremel cut off tool solved that in 5 seconds or so. The fit is now nice and tight.

I bought a 1/2”x 5/8” x1” long bronze bushing at the local ACE hardware store, pressed it in and cut it off with a hacksaw. Problem solved.
