Rochester 2g To Tbi Adapter

Im looking for a 2g to tbi adapter plate. The only company i could find that makes one is howell but they won't sell it unless you buy the whole kit. Does anyone have a lead on these adapter plates or is it something i will have to make myself? I would like to avoid changing to a 4 barrel intake manifold if possible.

You can buy something like this and then modify it to fit your intake. You will likley need to countersink the bolts that go through the adapter into the intake.

Unfortunately that is for the large bore 2g, i have the small bore

 

I got the adaptor from Holley when I ordered the Sniper.
I don't know enough to say its right for your intake.

 

How handy are you? I made an adapter from the BBD to a Rochester TB from a piece of aluminum. I needed a drill press and an aluminum bit for my die grinder.

You'll need to figure out how to arrange the hardware so the throttle flaps operate.

Looks like this one might work or at least be easy to modify.

 

Seems they are referring to the Carter BBD 2V that came with the 258 for several years. This is the type of adapter that I made. You should check with AFI that the patterns of the BBD and 2G match.
