Replacing my bent front bumper on my ‘59. What is the best source (Kaiser Willy’s, etc. ) for a good front stock bumper?

I got have bought a couple of them from QTM (Quarter Ton & Military). Both were high quality and fit perfectly. I expect many suppliers have the same thing so I would shop for price.

KW lists them for $159, which is a higher price than some other suppliers.

QTM doesn't list a CJ5 bumper, but they do list one for a M38A1 for $77. That would fit a CJ5.

Military bumper will fit, but is shorter. Actually might be an advantage off-road. Or in combat.

I picked up a repro one for my M38A1. I think there were two versions the military used over the years, a shorter and a longer. The repro one available from Omix I think is the shorter one. It really doesn't look correct for a CJ5.

Hey Zak, I've got nothing to add about bumpers. I just haven't seen you on here in a while, hope all is well with you and your family.
    Merry Christmas.

I have an unused “ painted, installed and then removed” front crossmember that I bought from Kaiser Willys in 2019 that I would be willing to part with for a good deal…but I’m in California.

I am all for a “good deal”. Any clue what shipping would be to 48827?

The bumper I pulled off my CJ5 isn't bent, but there are some extra holes that are puckered out a bit where a big push bar had been attached. Free to anyone who can come get it. I imagine shipping would cost more than it is worth.

I agree with Old Pappy - shipping might be about the same cost as the item - it's heavy.
