Got the 2A's Dana 25 wrapped up for the most part. Just waiting for the drive flanges to come in from FedEx. Work has kind of stalled on the 2A and this is the most progress I"ve made in a few weeks but I've got 5 days off coming up so I'm hoping to get a lot more done.

Today I finished the installation of the vintage Meyer plow I had restored for the Jeep. It is ready to go, and will earn its keep plowing the driveway!

My brother has been driving my jeep to work the past 3 weeks today he left to come home the battery was dead he jumped it there was no brakes and smoke was coming out. The switch shorted out and mucst have killed the battery and boiled the brake fluid at the same time. I guess its time to put a switch on the pedal

    Cutting corners.

Any suggestions to cut this big hole? My jig saw isn’t going to like it and I don’t have a plasma cutter.

A bi-metal hole saw with plenty of lubrication works well.

I've Got one, but you don't need one. It would be pretty hard to handle.
Do you have a Good qaulity Jigsaw , like a Bosch Or Milwaukee ? About 6 ) good , 1/4" cutting bimetal blades should cut that quite nicely. Or Invest in a plasma cutter for Christmas :D
BTW, from the picture , it appears that you got the body to frame alignment straightened out ?

A good quality hole saw will be through that in no time.

I drilled a bunch of holes and then finished it off with a jigsaw.

It's better but and forward enough on the right now but I need to shift everything to the left and back about 1/2". Its incredibly hard to move around seeing there isnt one mount present. Brake lines, wires and steering column are the only connecting parts now.

I'll have to measure and see if I can find a hole saw big enough.

This may be my answer. I do have a good jigsaw and with a new blade it seemed to cut some of the trimming I did pretty well.

What fasteners did you use there on the armor? Did you use sealant between armor and body?

The corner guards came with all the hardware. It was nut and bolts that I was able to countersink. I may some left overs around here somewhere and will look to see if I can get a picture. I did not seal between the armor and body. I did get some dirt in between but usually I was able to blast it out with a hose.

The jigsaw with a new blade did it just fine. One blade was enough.
I also did get some help moving the body around. The rear is centered and bolted down to the new crossmember.
Then I put the new bumper on as well.
