The center hole is too small and they don't normally have to worry about brake clearance issues so it looks like there is a dip where the drum would need to be.
Jpet had a thread on cj2a a few years ago with these and trailer trims using original centers to get safety beads and special widths.

Growing up on a farm I don't ever want to see them wheels again. Soo many flat tires.

Roxor wheels are about the same price and would be better than these.

Gotcha. I figured there was a reason why they wouldn't work. Thanks for the education.

Unfortunately, I want ones that look like the original wheels or else I would be all over the Roxor wheels.

Hello, on willysjeepparts.com they just started offering a 16 x 4 1/2 wheel that is DOT approved. And more importantly made in USA.

That is a very interesting selection. Does anyone know if the 15" offerings are compatible with 11" brake drums? I know my original K-H 15x4.5" are not without using spacers.

I've got original 16x4.5"s on my CJ, and they're fine to clear the 11" drums on the back, but I have to use wheel spacers to clear the disc brakes on the front. Not due to wheel diameter, but due to the backspacing. I've got a couple of 15"x4.5"s I could probably throw one on the back to check, if I had to.
