Will Bell Housing Interchange?

    Hi guys,

    A question arose from my bell housing classifieds post. My bell housing is from a 66 with the dauntless/spacer/T86/single stick D18. A potential buyer has the dauntless with the T14 in a 68. Will the bell housing work for him?

    Yes standard BUICK/OLDS/PONTIAC bolt pattern to GM transmission.The jeep specific bell housing such that you have has a jeep part number and a blocked out starter drive bulge on drivers side unlike the standard B/O/P piece with starter bulge on booth sides. This makes the correct jeep piece as you have a little harder to source. fyi.

    yes but it will need the spacer . T14 has a long input shaft

    T14 and T86 have the same bolt pattern and the T14 will need the spacer.
