Been wanting to go skinny with the tires. Want to mod it like a willys. I've got a narrow track cj7. Can't find pics online anywhere has any one gone this route? Is the 7 to big for the super traxion tires?

clearing the disc brakes without spacers is tough with factory skinny rims at 4.5 or 5.5 wide, a slightly wider aftermarket like you mention may work.

the problem is with the rim hitting the caliper if it has discs. I have run one inch spacers on the wifes 76 for years. as long as they are put on right they stay tight.

I think the solution done on this intermediate CJ5 looks pretty good and would work well for a CJ7:
New Cragar "Rat Rod" 16x7 wheels with 235x85-16 tires. These wheels should clear any brake setup.
