Manual Locking Hubs Need Help

I have a 71 cj5 and I need new maula locking hubs now my passenger side has warn and behind it is a u joint style axle cardone I believe now my driver side has I believe the rezepa style axle and has a denver manual locking hub I would like to buy rugged ridged from kiserwillys its says if your axle has a threaded bolt hole it need to be cut down so do I need to cut my axle shaft to fit that style locking hub the driver side is what iam referring to being that my passenger side is the newer or should I remove both manuel locking hubs and measure axle shaft stick out iam replacing both since both showed hair line cracks

 

take off both lockouts.

 

That's what I was thinking they measure the same on out side and if if both axle stick out is the same I should be good and iam sure they do this early cj5 stuff is early I was born in 87 I know 80 stuff late 70 stuff chevy and ford but early jeep stuff it's new to me

 

same here, i'm real young (teenage), and we got this jeep from the family farm mid 2020, and all this is new to me. i've learned a LOT in the last 6 months, and am now a jeep fanatic.

 

Me since 64, my Buddy's Dad bought two for snow plowing, he drove one to High School for our Senior Year, I am now a Senior Again.
