    Well, that's entirely possible! The suspect vehicle was sitting on the North end of a town next to a Pontiac that was for sale.:shrug:

    November 27, 2020 Update--

    Did a complete/all 4 corners brake job. Never seen a more corroded brake system. Alotza labor, and also a lot of time waiting on the most messed up & backordered online parts order ever! But, all is well now with the best brakes that 10" drums offer--which will work for my needs. :) Having brakes is a good thing!

    Ha, ha!

    Back nearly 50 years ago when I was 17, I ran a 1947 CJ2A most of one winter without brakes! We had plenty of snow, so I'd just "ram" a snowbank to stop, then regroup and head off again. Don't think I need that kind of drama as a old geezer now & at 17 years old most would not think I was suffering from dementia--as they might now! A little more is expected now--tough to grow up & get responsible! :rolleyes:
