Tires

    Looking for some advice on some new tires...Kind of out of my element. I'm going to pull my factory tires and put something on that drives around a little more comfortably etc. A mechanic told me I needed a 31x8 at least 16". Any advice or links to a good tire? Not sure if I've given enough info. Going to hang onto my factories tho.[​IMG]

    Hello, I am far from tires on my rig , however I have done some reading and 215 85 16 are being used . I like the Cooper Discover M&S . Good luck.

    I don't believe the factory ever put those tires on Jeeps, but yes definitely keep those.

    The biggest challenge with the OEM 16" rims is how narrow they are....finding tall but skinny radial tires from the large standard retailers is difficult. The above listed 215/85R16 would be a good fit.....If you are open to more specialty classic style tires, many bias ply, but often in tall and skinny dimensions, check coker:
