Oil Bath Air Filter

    When did the CJ5s switch from an oil bath air filter to a regular air filter in the 6 and 4 cylinder?

    Pretty sure the F-head always had the oil bath.

    I just cleaned mine after I can't say how many miles or years, When I done my Jeep I had a K and N on a dirt bike air filter weld to the original oil bath carb top. I later put the factory Oil Bath on it, so I have 10K miles on the Jeep since it was finished, anyway I was surprised to find only a little sand in the oil when I changed it last week. [​IMG]
