Has anyone installed a power steering pump on a F134 engine? I am installing a hydraulic winch by Mile Marker that my dad gave me. Did you fab all the brackets and what pump did you use?

Not sure what a hylo is, but the manufacture recommends a 1500 psi and 3.5-4.5 gal/min output for the pump.

Do you have any info on the Hylo pump for the plow? I'll start researching that as well.

You want a Hy Lo Jack pump, although I'm not sure about the specs - Hydraulic Pumps – FarmJeep.com

I've seen the spec sheet with the output rating, but can't find it. There are a bunch on ebay right now. Search for Monarch HY LO

The Hy Lo pumps looked good on paper when new, but the output might be sketchy on an old used unit for power steering. They were ok on pressure, but only 1gpm. From what I’ve read, you’re pretty much on your own for a rebuild.

 Sorry! I read that, knew that, then got distracted.

That just drives the point home though. Those mile marker winches are really slow with a PS pump. The older pumps can push upwards of 20 GPM, and the newer type-2 pumps move a little less. Compare that to the advertised 1 GPM of the Hy Lo, and I think it would make the winch nearly worthless.

Why are you limiting the drive for the pump being the engine? There is a PTO drive on the transfer case that could be used. Power steering pumps with a substantial load have a belt slipping issue . Driven from a power take off that is eliminated depending on the set up. Just thinking outside the box.
