Hey guys, I'm sure one of you knows this. Is there a trick or technique to pulling the E-brake drum cover off of the output shaft on the Dana 18 T-case. I'm about to get into a rebuild here and I can't seem to get any of my pullers to work for this application. Any help is appreciated

I've always just used my small two jaw puller under two of the ears on yoke

I use a steering wheel puller on the yoke. It's kind of a funny arrangement how it's behind the yoke but it works. The bolt heads are held steady by a groove they sit in.

I remember it being a chore but don't remember exactly how it all came off. Mine was so crusty is was unusable.
