    Hi,
Just put a repacement Voltmeter Omix-Ada 17215.03. Is there a way to calibrate this gauge? The real-real voltage is 14.4V (measured by a multimeter at the gauge terminals) and the dial show around 15.5-15.6 volts. I would need to offset down the readings. Anyone have experience with those gauges? Thanks

Typical Crown/Omix quality. I’d send it back.

Curious as to what or why did they leave that access hole in the back between the two mounting studs. Why is that same hole in the mounting bracket? Can you look inside to see if there is a slotted adjuster in there?

What year/model Jeep? Electrically it is possible to make a voltage divider from a couple of resistors and step down the reading. Not worth the effort IMO.

I would send it back and use an aftermarket replacement from Autometer or Stewart-Warner or similar. If you can't afford those brands, Equus or Summit Racing sells less expensive gauges. The Summit Racing web site will show you dozens of different voltmeters that will fit in your dash.

Don't know, but I would guess that they are using the same parts (case, bracket) for a mechanical gauge that has something entering there. Kinda doubt there is any adjustment.
