So I haven’t sourced my engine yet, but I was hoping to go ahead and get the frame coated and new suspension bolted up. Can I coat all the rear and some of the front leaving a small area uncoated until I figure out where the motor mounts are going? Then coat the rest? Will the fresh area bond with the areas who are already coated?

You could, but the bond won't be as good. It's been 25 years since I POR'd my frame, but if I remember correctly there's a window where the paint dries, and the bond is only mechanical vs. Chemical. Youd have to scuff the cured paint to get it to stick at all

If you have not purchased POR 15 yet, take a look at KBS products and see what ya think. It's being used a lot out my way.

    I’ll look into it.

I think I heard about a product for inside the frame that comes with a 2’ long sprayer with a 360 spray tip? Sound familiar to anyone?

Just for clarity, all paint was brushed on.
