My windshield is a bit wobbly when up so I ordered replacement cowl rubber that attaches to the bottom of the windshield frame. I also have some foam rubber bonded to the top of the cowl. Is this stock or was this a later attempt to tighten the windshield? IMG-20200413-WA0004.jpg

    Thanks,
    Ken

My 66 had only one piece same as yours on the bottom of the windshield frame. New replacement is one piece also. That lower piece looks like it was used to tighten the gap for water seal or to space the top of the windshield forward for some purpose.

I ripped a wedge shaped piece of oak to add a little angle.

I replaced my Cowl weather-strip and it got a lot quieter, made a lot of difference.
