Know this has been talked about a bunch of times. I did a search and read a lot. But, still didn't find a good thread where someone had replaced the under hood warmer with a firewall heater. What I'm truly interested in is one where I can get both floor heat and defroster heat. Will need to be mounted on the passenger side due to swinging pedals. That and I'm not sure how much room I'll really have behind the glove box until my dash arrives from Double D Fab.

image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg Yj heater fits.. Floor surgery/ firewall clearance issues too. Factory glove box will be tight.. Looks top of heater core to back of dash roughly 3 inch.

    • Lol that exactly what I did too. The later jeep yj heating system really can pump out some good heat. Thats why I went this route. Only down side one has to modify the early cj 5 body to get that heater to work.
