Vin Info Owner Says Its A 60

    Hi everyone

    i have been reading and searching on here but the links i found in older threads didnt work.

    this is whats on the plate on the firewall. 57548 124926. Its on there with 4 screws is that correct?
    Will dmv accept this?

    Realize that there's not much change year-to-year in this era. Since there's no explicit year in the VIN, the dealership could assign any year they want, within reason. The VIN document gives you an idea of when the Jeep was produced, but '60 vs. '61? Pretty much a difference without a distinction, IMO.

    If you have the previous registration and title saying it's a '60 then I wouldn't think they would question it.

    im going to be filing for title so that will help as well. Not a terrible hard process here
