Sold to me as a '69, my CJ5 has a wide radiator. The duct to this radiator, from the grille, does not angle toward the driver's side. Instead, it flares to both sides. I've not seen this in any CJ5 I've seen. What have I got?

1969 should be the same as 70-71 grill. That was the year they changed to wider v-6 radiator and hood latch and prop rod.My '69 and '71 are the same as the one pictured above. If you could post a picture it would be helpful in answering your question. cheers mike

Thank you all. I had a feeling about the V6. It came to me with the F-134 in it. You've answered my question.

My 70 with the F134 uses the pictured grille to accommodate the wide radiator. It currently has a home made filler panel and uses an earlier F134 radiator. There was another 70 with a F134 for sale recently and it still had the original wide radiator.

This is from an DJ6 unknown year but has the wide radiator and F134.

Oddly enough my V6 titled as a 1969 but is really a 68 by a few hundred serial numbers has the wide radiator. Maybe there was a heavy cooling package available earlier? It sure looks to be the original grill.
