Might-could think about that for DadsTJ. Or just upgrade the stock Sahara fog lights to LED somethings instead. I just don't like the look of any of the LED headlights I've seen for Jeeps.

When I had a JK, I pulled the stock lights out. Stock JK lights are not that good. I replaced them with Hella E-Code H4 Lenses with 80/90W bulbs. The E-Code is a European standard, has great cutoff and light dispersion. Awesome upgrade.

I recently put some LEDs in my CJ to try them, but regret that I didn't buy the Hella's. The LEDs are bright, I just don't like the look of them.

They make old Jeeps look like zombies.

At this point in my life I am less concerned about the cosmetics of the headlight and prioritize effectiveness above all. My eyes are at the point they want the best light available.... besides, from the driver's seat, I can't see what the headlights look like anyway:)

The Hella's are a very nice and affordable option. You can do a complete set up with the relay harness for about $225 or $100 without the harness from Rallylights.com. I ran these on my JK for a while before converting to LED. I do prefer the LED as with the harness I was overpowering the light bulbs and going through a set every 6 months.

I've upgraded headlights on older vehicles (including 2 Jeeps) with IPF H4 conversions (andd relays). IMHO they are the best conversion for my aging eyes. Proof is the wife god asked me if I could "fix" the lights on her new Subaru so they work like the ones on her xj cherokee it replaced.
While not DOT approved I have never had oncoming traffic flash me, nor had any issue with le. This due to the excellent "cutoff" that restricts excessive light from projecting upward, yet casts plenty down the road and toward the shoulders.
The lamp housings are had to find, my source is Rock Road Outfitters.

I wired up my originals with Relays and was very suprised by how well they worked. 10 dollars on amazon for a set of two relays was well worth it
