Rear dump manifolds, hei distributors and ps steering pump brackets worth several $100 as is. A little fuzzy but sure looks like one is an odd fire 231. Score!

You certainly have a good eye. I couldn't tell until I looked at the casting #. But it does seem that one is a OF231

Well the patch on the block didn't work. It leaks. I'm going to build the orange 225 in the pic. It is an earlier version. I think with the KH stamped in the block, it means that this was a 9:1 comp engine, correct? The heads are earlier style also with no emissions ports, casting # B 358676 R. I was hoping to reuse the heads that were on the engine that I was running, on the cracked block. These heads only have a few thousand on them. Just to save the cost of more machine work. Is there an advantage to the earlier heads, will it change the comp ratio by using the newer style heads?

Probably going to revert back to the cable operated clutch also if I can come up with the correct parts. I've swapped to hanging pedals from an intermediate. What cable are you guys running with this setup? 225,T15,D18.

I bought a clutch cable for an intermediate. Not sure its the correct one. The ball seems a little small for the clutch lever, and the threaded end is 5/16 fine. Is that normal? What other parts would i need to make this work?
