So transfert case is now complete again...back under the jeep. I would say the experience of getting the transfert case back in place was really better than the last time i try to put it back with the transmission already in there. I did use some 3 1/2" bolt as guide, make the install way more easier, specially when you dont have a lift.

DOnt have picture but i have this one with my daughter that wanted to help me :p

So my list of modification come to an end for this end....had to kept a low budget so electric locker will have to wait another year.

For drive shaft angle issus i had to find a way to reduce the angle. So i decided to drop out the transfert case crossmembre about 1.75 inch lower than it was before. But i didn't loose any clearance. Now the drive shaft angle look pretty good and i wont have any more problem when i will downshift.

Good thing that i'm a electrical construction distributor. I have in inventory sealed battery that normaly are use on exit sign. So since it's a 6/12 volts set-up it need to run on two 6v battery. So i will use two 6v/12ah.
As for charger i will looking for a 1a/h output so charge should be around 10-12 hours.

Good news today, during lunch i bring on the two battery along the wiring diagram and everything work fine. I'm really excited about it working again :) Still need to clean up wire and secure everything :)
This little red jeep is where all begins with my love for cj'5. Funny thing i bought the cj5 without knowing the this little red jeep has the same body shape. It was a big surprise when my father bring back to me this little jeep 5 year's ago.

Careful working under that thing. I'm not sure that jack stand has a high enough working load limit.

Funny thing....the size of the jeep doesnt matter the problem you will have....

Yesterday during lunch everything was working good for the little red jeep. BUT in the evening i plugged back the battery inside the hood....but i messed two wire (these are 4 wire because of 2 battery). There was little fume coming up from on connector on the battery but not enought the cause damage to battery. Since them the high speed wasnt working anymore and with my tester i started to search for possible problem.

After 2 hours search yesterday, my head was spinning about finding the issues...so during lunch i just found that a big white connector has melted a little one 1 of the 4 wire and wasnt making any contact to the other connector. Repair it and now it is working good again.

    Not a big thing done's this week-end.

When i bought the led bar i did not have a big idea of where i could mount it. Not a big fan of the orverall look, but must admit that those light have a great brightness.

    IMG_5896.JPG

So yesterday i was looking at the jeep and the idea to move the light under the little bar worked is way. I have to back up the winch aboput 1 inch, did lower the roller about 1" too and that all it needed to have the light mount under the bar. i found the look to be way better now.

Come back from a two weeks vacations....had time to finish some project (took 2 days of work).

First i did install the passenger seat i got from the celicas GTS. Had the driver install last year but didnt have the motivation for the passenger back them.

Also, i did work the front sway bar project i did start couple's month ago. Initialy was suppose to use a JK sway bar but since i bought it i did move the winch back to have the led light move under the roll bar on the bumper, so this plan wasn't working anymore.

But a friend of mine has a YJ sway bar that i didn't plan to use so igot it for the price of a beer can.

Install took some time because i had to deal with the Scout steering box as you can see on the picture.

Also i did some quick disconnect so i can in a 30 second move take if off :)

Having too much time in the garage looking at the jeep is not the best thing, more when you're doing some cleaning in the electrical part left over past project.

So i had around 2 feet of green led strip left over. I had some little channel in the scrapp metal. So led stripp at the bottom, seal it in clear silicone....
