Chrome . If not, white. seems more correct for an older Jeep.

    Depends on body color

The black rims look solid on that jeep.

I like the white on older CJ's and that's what I am using on my current project. But a worker guy at the local flaps sure gave me the dirt for it. Thinks it should have Cepecks with 33's. (how the *@%$& do you spell cepec?)

LoL, Lee.....Only " Dick" knows for sure ! All 'Kids" at the local auto junk,... uh,... er..Parts stores think we need their wheels . Go in tomorrow, on that guys day off , & I betcha you get a different opinion from another ' Kid" . IMHO , at our age , who the hell need's 33 inch tires ? I don't , I'm having a hard enough time climbing in over my 31's . Btw, They're for sale, if you want to come North to Lake Ontario & do some Salmon Fishing too ? ;)
Richie----Lockman Wheels.jpg PS, White on Older CJ's . Black or Chrome to match the paint color. That's what the body men will say, I'm quite sure.

Gloss gray or gloss almond is a nice option. Slightly different but not in your face . The gray would work great with your body color.

    I know I know:D
Those are some of the previous owners faults. I’ve started to look for a set of fenders that match the green of the rest of the body

Hey, you're in CA where you can DA your Jeep down to bare metal and wash it with a can of Barricade gun protectant once a month. I like your machine just as it is. If it were mine I'd cut in fresh steel if there is any rot then ENJOY IT. In exchange for a nice looking Jeep I'll havr given up a decade of actual driving, AND a lot of money. Dont be me.

I am running these wheels on my CJ-2A [IMG]
They will have a 3/16" wide Orange stripe on them same place as the original Willys wheels did. Orange is one of the trim colors on my jeep. I am going to be running Chrome caps like these in the back [IMG] and open sleeves of the same style in the front then Acorn style Lug nuts with Stainless Valve stems. I like the simple clean wheel design and the little Orange pin stripe and the little bit of chrome should brighten them up a bit.

Siad I was going white, and did. Added the black stripe. I'm a 70's guy and that's what we ran back then. Maybe would have gone black but couldn't find white pinstripe. Go ahead - fling your arrows. I can take it. CAM00403-1.jpg

I like them. Green Jeeps can pull off either color.

Yes, they would have been red and blue (white between them.) Red, white and blue! I just barely had the inability to get one color on. lol.

Lee, I looks like you have front and rear rims. Two look like the 4 1/8" center hole to clear old-school lockouts up front. How did you apply your pins stripe?
