I originally painted the tub inside the same as outside, but with 4 kids, I went with Vortex liner, about 1/8-3/16 thick. It holds up to kids well and adheres excellently. It cost 200 to have whole interior sprayed. I prepped it all with 120 grit sandpaper and then I used epoxy primer as per the shops instructions. It’s comparable to line x or something similar I guess. I like the paint better but I knew it would get scratched badly with my kids and I using the Jeep daily as a farm vehicle and camping/fishing/hunting vehicle, so I cringed and had it sprayed.

I went with U-pol Raptor liner in mine. I'm really happy with the results.

This is an option for me. I could spray it too. Do you have any pictures?

I plan on using raptor liner for the interior. Can't decide on black or color matching the rest of the body though. Thinking of doing the outside in raptor liner too...

Here's a picture of it on my frame. I like the way it came out and it'll give you an idea of the texture.

Here is picture of it. It was really easy to work with. I'm working on a over-landing trailer for my CJ and I will be using it on that for sure. I'm also going to do the inner fender wells on my CJ with it at some point too.

raptor is tintable and topcoatable the tintable stuff wont be an exact match to paint but if you spray a 2k urethane paint within the recoat window it will chemically bond to the liner effectively becoming one layer of paint.

I have sprayed it to about 3/16 to a strong 1/4 with no ill effects. if you allow it to flash properly I see no reason you couldn't go thicker. the leftover liner hardens just fine at over an inch thick it will peel out of the plastic cup and is hard like a hockey puck.the puck can be bent till opposite edges touch without breaking.
