My Jeep has an AM radio on the dash that I with to retain. But I'd like to play my music from my phone with Bluetooth connection so an amp of some sort can be hidden behind the glovebox door or up undee the cowl.

Mixed reviews on some of this equipment. Anyone use one that works? Im talking just an amp that receives bluetooth signal and drives a couple of speakers.

    Thanks
    Chilly

I put in a Pioneer MVH-X390BT plus 4 speakers with amp under back seat. Love the bluetooth option. I place my phone in center console and operate head unit with remote control I can keep in my pocket. Helps keep me from losing my phone.

Located head unit under the drivers seat. Been happy with set up so far.

I can't believe I'm saying this out loud... Go to Walmart, buy a Dual (that's the brand name) BT receiver (no CD's) for $19. They work great, cheap and reliable. I use them in my kid's cars and my travel trailers (just installed one in my 2nd trailer today).

Interesting timing; I was just looking at "retro car stereos" on that auction site. Saw some similar to what Focker posted and was wondering if they were any good.

On the vintage car stereo styling, I can dig it. I like the ivory knobs on this Bluetooth compatible unit:

If you have dual exhaust and/or side pipes (that exit in front of the rear wheels especially), they make ample music. :worry:
