Hall Style Tail Light Rebuild?

I am trying to resurrect the tail lights on my '67 CJ-5.

I have all of the parts but the innards for the bulb socket.

Has anyone been able to find something that can fit or replace the bulb socket?

I'd try researching antique car suppliers - like for Model T and Model A Fords - they reproduce many individual restoration parts.

 

Have you checked for an 1157 Bulb Socket at your local FLAPS?

 

Thanks, all they have is a whole unit, I was hoping to just replace the inner guts (spring, wires, contact plate)

 

Apparently they're available--to source a couple may be the difficulty. JT&T (2556F) 2-Wire Universal Double Contact Light Socket Pigtail Base w/ Fiber Washers & Tension Spring, 2 Pcs.

 

Search for "1157 pigtail" and you might find it.

I might have my old pair, seems like the light sockets were still good. I will check if you might be interested.
