Hello again. Can someone verify that I have my brake lines routed correctly? I put in a SS kit from classic tube, and was unable here or elsewhere to find a visual reference (nor locate the pre-breakdown pix I took).

Does the line from MC to Front route underneath the upper drivers shock mount (as shown)? Are the MC to F and R lines located correctly in relation to the clutch linkage?

I have it finger tight and want to be sure prior to tightening and installing clips.

    Thanks!

Pics are ok here. Make sure your firewall or tracking/malware programs are not blocking tinypic.com - my program says it's an ok domain.

Front looks right, from what I remember. Not sure about the routing around the bell crank - that may be different for sixes vs the V8.

Nice that they gave you a covering of stone guard over the whole length. Is it also stainless?

No, the stone guards are not. Pretty happy with the kit, sizing/bends pretty accurate, flares clean.

It came with two extra lines for some reason:

This is a pic from when i was tearing apart my 72 last year. I haven't got back to the stage of installing the brake lines, but hopefully will be soon.

Routing seems to be exactly as you have it shown through the front driver's shock mount.

Edit: Mine has a later model MC so I can't really help you on the routing up to the MC.

Some stainless alloys are ferromagnetic. Not a definitive test.

Not easy to test ... Stainless Steel - Sorting and Identification Tests

I would ask Inline Tube - if it's not stainless, it will be bright plated (zinc plated?) steel, and you should see signs of rust at the cut ends after some exposure to the weather.
