What other modifications are needed to add a 2 1/2 lift? Brake lines? Driveshaft? etc?

So, i went to throw on the rear leaf springs. And low and behold, they sent me the wrong u-bolts. I got seven short ones and one long one. The rear pack is a little taller, hence the longer bolt. Someone must been out the night before they were packaging ubolts at the plant. Other than this setback, im ok with it. 4 springs, 4 shocks, 8 u-bolts and all the washers and locknuts for ubolt mounting. Had to run to the hardware store fore grade 8 bolts for the spring mounting

The simple instructions that came with doesn't say anything about that. The u-bolts came in two packages one was labeled front and one was labeled back.

I wish they would have supplied new bolts to mount it to the frame/shackle. not sure why they would not.

and I also had to drill the holes in the spring plate out to 1/2" to accommodate the new ubolts.

Should be a shade wider and taller I think for the front pass side...

Just spoke with rough country. And the said the long single one is for the front passenger side. It still seems like the other ones are too short. At work now, will have to check again in a few hours when i get home

Problem 1: The new ubolts are just too short. I can get the locknut not quite to the nylon bushing.
Problem 2: these leaf springs are wider than the old beat-up ones. So the ubolts won't fit in that shock mounting plate when installed. I would have to egg the holes out way too much for me to be comfortable with on the shock plate

All of the old ones are the same length of the one long one with the new kit.

Same width, different height. Also the larger dia. Ubolts aren't helping my cause. Maybe get some 7/16" ubolts?

and finding a place that carries u-bolts is not easy here. I'm not surprised, but I'm surprised. and when you tell the kid its at the counter its for a 1962 jeep, he looks at you like you are from another planet.

All right folks I'm halfway done. I got the rear leaf springs installed and tightened the u-bolts down to 70 foot pounds. I was going to dig into the front tonight but I noticed that the threaded stud for the shock is busted off of the passenger side spring plate. So now I have to wait until the new one comes in the mail.
