63 Hood On A 67?

I came across a hood for a 63 in good shape at a good price. The hood for my 67 has a hole cut in it for a scoop that I want to get rid of and I was going to weld in a piece of sheet metal but would rather replace the hood with a clean one.

Will the 63 fit?

 

Sure. NP. A '63 hood may have the snorkel cutout, if you care. It may also not have the safety latch. In terms of size and shape, same.

I replaced my 64 hood with a 66 hood on my TP, I did not want the snorkel port that was on my 64 hood. I gave my 64 hood to my Buddy G I Joe, for his GI jeeps.

 

I have a 63' and a 67'. The hood will fit and there is no safety latch. Tim is right about the snorkel cut-out though.
