One last question, when you guys added shims to BDS springs, did you have to order a new/longer center pin?

As I recall, I used a very long Rancho spring center bolt (5/16"?), and cut off the extra after the pack was together. The shim was included with the spring pack, so the bolt goes through the tapered shim and the spring pack.

I'd put in the caster shims first then take it back and have them re-set toe. Changing caster will change toe. 2* positive caster is not enough even though it's within the factory range. Especially with larger than stock tires. 5-7 degrees positive is the magic range for these vehicles.

That's my plan. Mike is shipping me shims tomorrow so next weekend I should have it back up at the alignment shop with the casters installed and with new numbers. I'll follow up on the results.

Thanks again everyone for all the help.

Mike's shim wedges did the trick and she's driving allot better now. Thanks for all the help guys.

Once I got the shims in and took it for a test drive I decided to pull the toe in a little just to see what I could do before I get the chance to head back to the alignment shop next saturday. I was on my second test run when my clutch push rod fell out. lol. ...on to new things.

Replace the ball joints with Heim joints. Easy upgrade. Either that, or put a leash on the replacement push rod so you don't lose it if it falls out.
