    I'm putting my 225 and T 18 trans together.
Ordering from Rock Auto, just because I don't know where else to order from.
    Questions
Are the transmission- transfer case mounts the same for all transmissions?
Are the clutches the same for all transmissions?
I can get a pilot bushing in brass or with needle bearings, which is better?
Can I just have the flywheel resurfaced or does it need to be balanced to my engine?
I'm sure all these questions have been answered before but I suck at search.
    Thanks

Any additional advice or tips would be appreciated .

lots of questions there . did engine and transmission bolt up . is it ford or jeep . pilot bushing would be size to crank and input shaft . you'll have to adapt the cross member . have flywheel resurfaced . pictures of what you have would help

Perhaps we should get together and talk. I live in Happy Valley and work in Oregon City, assuming you mean Oregon as where you're from. I did T-18 conversion for 21 plus years... pm me (start a conversation) with your contact info if you're interested. Depends on which T-18 you have, which input shaft, if the flywheel is originally from that engine resurfacing will suffice. If from another engine it "may" or "may not" need balancing depending on application. I prefer a bronze/oillite bushing instead of a roller needle bearing because the bronze bushing doesn't eat up the input shaft pilot. At least not as bad.
Clutches are not all the same for different transmissions. Lots of differences there. There are differences in transmission and transfer case mounts depending on which adapter, transmission, which transmission vintage and version, etc. you have.
