image.jpeg Well, I had a real good day today. I tried the bleeding again, still no release of the clutch. But thanks for the response, that's what I need when I'm stuck. I then removed the clutch pedal and lengthened the shaft by an inch. Again, nothing. A friend of mine stopped by and suggested that the clutch might be stuck to the flywheel. It sat for almost two years, since I put the motor and tranny togeather. He said to start it in gear, with the clutch in. Sounded a bit crazy, but I tried it. It started and didn't move, but made some weird sounds for a minute. Then, everything was normal. So I went for a drive. First time out in almost three years. I took my niece with me, because she was the only person that didn't say. "Your never going to get that thing going."

One negative note. I have a real bad oil leak where the transfere case attaches to the transmission. Most days this would have been horrible. But today, I hardly noticed.

Nice job. Glad to hear it's working for you. Now get that leak fixed and drive the wheels off that thing.

Thats great! Your clutch problem really happens. This spring on the farm one of out road tractors clutch would not release. Turns out the clutch fiction disk was stuck to the flywheel.

Glad to see you got it on the road, and that it was not anything more serious. When you fix the oil leak, be sure to document for the rest of us. Since we all have oil leaks, any effort to stop them is of interest :D
