Just purchased a even fire Buick V6 with a T98 already attached. What kind of issues am I going to run into when I replace the original F head and T90. Is it worth mounting the V6 to the T90?

I think you'll want to keep the T98. Some of the '60's actually came with it installled.
You need to find out about mounting the V6 in the '60.

I have the advanced adapters motor mounts. But trying to figure out how to mount the new trans. I don't know if it possible to use the existing crossmember or if there is an adapter that too.

Most likely you're going to need to fab new driveshafts. Yours are probably worn out anyway, so making your engine/transmission placement to fit those is not a good idea. I used Tom Woods custom Driveshafts and he was excellent. You're also going to want to think about clutch linkage. Depending on what you do, you might need to work with that. Can go cable or hydraulic. The transmission crossmember is not real difficult to push forward or back a bit. I used the stock one for my project(s).

Why do you think it's a T-98? There's no easy way to adapt the T-98 to the Buicks. Maybe you actually have a T-18? The early T-18 uses the same shift top casting as the T-98, and it says T-98 in cast letters. You need to look at the case: a T-98 will say T-98 in the side of the case, and a t-18 will say 13-01 or T-18.

Is the 4-speed transmission adapted to a Jeep transfer case? Certainly the truck 4-speed is a big upgrade over the T-90.

There are two sets of hole to the rear of the current crossmember is that set up for a larger trans from the factory? It's already setup with a hydraulic clutch.

It is a T98 (stamped on the side) and it is already mounted to the buick even fire. It came out of an M38A1 that was rolled on the Rubicon.

I moved my crossmember back about half the width of the crossmember.

The front holes on the crossmember mated to the last holes for the crossmember in the frame for a perfect fit. I drilled 2 new holes further back on tthe frame for the center and back holes on each side. The last hole is really close to end of frame strapping.

    I formerly had a t14.
