Am having some difficulty removing the bar from the jeep as the L-angle of the feet are under the lip of the tub. I thought that by removing the seats that I could pull it forward enough so that the feet would start to clear the lip but that is not the case. It shows no signs of having been welded into place so the PO must have gotten it in there somehow during its prior restoration. Is there some trick to this that I am missing? I have considered ratcheting the hoop and feet enough to clear. Is this how it's done? Thanks

If you can't spring it out by bouncing against it, use the ratchet strap. Typical.

That is how I got mine out - doesn't take much pull to get the feet to come in a few inches and clear the lip.

Agreed with the above posts. I've always had to use a slight amount of force with a come-along.

I could get the roll bar back in my 3B by bouncing against it but the ratchet strap method sounds a bit easier. I thought of it a few minutes after.
