image.jpg I'm trying to figure out the additional parts I'll missing, to make this work. I bought the vent itself, but not sure what additional hardware I'm missing to make it work. There seems to be 4 threaded holes built into vent mount under windshield. Does anyone have close up pictures of what it looks like installed. Are parts still produced?

    Thanks, Cole

It appears you have an M38 windshield frame instead of a 3A frame with the pivoting vent. The M38 vent cover bolts on using those 4 holes and does not pivot out.

Mickieboy, thanks for link. Jeepermc just gave me some bad news. It appears to be an m38 windshield. So another something special in the punch bowl. I really want that vent, so I'll have to make it work. Thanks for your help guys!
    Regards, Cole

Let's see if I can make this pic work. From my military m38 artic tops windshield. This should be what you have. And from the design you don't have to remove the 4 screws you just loosen them and the vent cover slides to the side and off[IMG]

Thanks for input, I really wanted the flip out vent system. I Think I can make it work, with some minor modifications (story of my life). I didn't know I had the wrong windshield for the CJ3A, that's what it came with. So I had it powder coated and put in the glass. So too late for a swap. Probably on hold until I get it driving.

    Thanks, Cole

I have a 3A at home that I can get some detailed pics of the vent system if you like? Won't be till next week however as I'm headed to Canada after work today.
