I'll try to get some better pictures this weekend, and see if there's any part numbers on the brackets.
Thanks for all the help and advice!

Now that's a good start..............that bracket looks different than Doug's.
What does your other bracket look like ?..........the one that bolts directly to the head?............Does it look the same as the one Doug first showed? If so it may be just the Pump bracket that is different?

The one bolted to the engine looks like Doug's and Pifey's.

Doug's pump brackets are definitely different.

BTW...In Pifey's 2nd pic his fender must be laying on the tire? The headlight wires are hanging freely and there's far too much space between the pump and fender as compared to his 1st pic.

OK , So the aluminum bracket on the head seems to be the same among all three? That's good news..........so it sounds as if the pump brackets are the missing link? Does your pump look the same as the others as far as where the mounting is concerned? I think they are all the same........but in different years that may just not be so.

The pumps appear to have the same mounting holes to me.

The pump, mount bracket for mine is from a 1966 67 68 69 70 Buick Skylark GS Special 340 350 Power Steering Pump & Brackets.

I recall the seller listed it at a 1969 Buick skylark GS with a 350. I will see if I can get more information for you. I test fitted this pump with front dump exhaust but ended up running rear dump due to the steering shaft.

EDIT: Added a better picture of the bracket and mount that is not attached to engine to my first post. No dimensions or numbers though.

I printed a picture of Dougs and your aluminum head bracket and they both appear to be the same.................the noticeable difference between the pump brackets is how close the pump reservoir body is in yours versus Dougs. At least an inch and a half +/-

So it looks like were just looking for the correct brackets...............Thanks

First picture was a test fit, with front dump exhuast.
It should be noted that my second picture is deceiving... My fender was laying on my tire but the pump was correctly tensioned.
Third picture is of the pump and bracket not installed from ebay seller.
Fourth picture is a close up picture of how close the pump is too the bracket.

Ok Guys , ............Just for clarity sake...........is the parts.......Both the Aluminum head mounted bracket that Doug already has & the brackets on the pump , noted in the E-Bay add mentioned above look to be the same to the best of your knowledge as what you have that currently fits your CJ-5 / V6 with a front dump exhaust manifold?............and I assume neither of you had to do any fender work for clearance either?

I agree Focker if these are the correct Brackets ...........then Doug should consider getting this and sell off his old ones...........

Doug, What it looks like is your Aluminum head bracket seems to be OK..............but your brackets on the pump are not the correct ones at least for you to clear that L/F fender.

If you take a look at this Pump and bracket on E-Bay 1969-1970 Buick Riviera, Skylark, USED power steering pump with pulley & bracket this one matches what Piffey and Focker have that clearly fits the front dump manifold without hitting the fender.............The difference between your bracket versus the E-bay bracket is that the pump reservoir mounts right up close to the aluminum head bracket whereby yours mounts perhaps 1.5" away.

Take a look at the pictures...........this is your pump and head bracket:
And this is a similar E-Bay Pump and bracket
    [IMG]

In this picture it clearly shows how much space there is between the pump reservoir and the aluminum head bracket vs the one you have above.
This I believe is the right bracket that you need..........the one on E-Bay 4-sale doesn't have the Aluminum Head Bracket , but I believe you have the correct one already on your pump..........The bracket # on E-Bay is 1386935.......
Call this E-Bay seller in Oregon that looks to be into used power steering pumps and brackets @ 541-259-4278............I'm sure between the two of you with the information you now have ........he can hopefully supply you with the correct bracket you need ...........or maybe you can ask if you can return it if it does not fit.

Weird? I had the following all typed up this morning but it didn't post...Found it in my "draft".

    For clarity:
Doug's and Pifey's aluminum bracket looks identical to mine.

The brackets mounted to the pump in the ebay ad are exactly the same as mine.

There is no fender work with my setup which was done
