Both my Volvo and van have had body and paint work done. after a few years in the sun, you can see the color change. I don't care about the camo paint done on the Commando. It was some idiots attempt to make it something it isn't. It does make it a bit easier to repaint after a welding job, you don't really have to match anything.

Give it a shot. I figured I wouldn't be upset if I destroyed my paint so I went into it thinking I had nothing to lose. I think the stuff I got is mild enough that you're not going to hurt anything.

If you get the Turtle Wax Rubbing Compound make sure to use a ton of water. I just hosed the Jeep down panel by panel and would scoop out a big slug of compound with one of those circular buffing pads as I went and rinse after I gave it the once over. Once I finished I washed it with normal car wash soap.

Re-posting a few pictures, I noticed the old ones didn't make the transition to the new format. I've made a couple mods and a few additions. Swapped the bulb headlights for VisionX Vortex LEDs with the option to combine both high and low beam. All I can say is, "Wow".
Lowered the pivot point of the tailgate hinges so it drops below the level of the bed, and will shift the spare tire more toward the center so the rack opens out past 90°. These mods are to accommodate a set of sliding drawers for spares, tools, gear, etc., and a sliding rack for a fridge/freezer and stove.
Installed an inverter. Working on: albright solenoid conversion for the winch, dual battery, and battery disconnect switches.
Don't anticipate much driving for the next few months - cold and rainy don't mix well with NO top. Should be a good time to finish the work.

I put the same bumper on a friend's TJ. The whole time I was doing it I kept thinking about how much I liked the bumper. Now that I'm changing the front of my frame I think I'll incorporate this bumper... Jeep looks awesome by the way...

First snow day. About 6-7 inch of snow on ground, hit the trail , we have a real good time.

All low tree branch were discharging their snow over jeep. They came low because of the weight of the snow on them.

i wish I was even close to working on my CJ6, one I don't have the money, two I don't have the space to work on it, and three its in another state. I have a plan but its going to be atleast another year off before I can do much of anything.
