I think these are KH, any way to tell without removing the tires? The centers are riveted to the hoops, Tires look runnable (mild driver). Anybody see any reason to not give them a try?

I agree with Howard, the wheel you showed us is probably an early '50's, 4 1/2" wheel, maybe late '40's. Do the others look exactly like it? Do any of the others have a small, 1/8", hole next to a lug nut? If so, that is a 5" wheel.

As for using the tires, well, what's your safety worth? If it were me, I'd at least get them dismounted and thoroughly checked, maybe clean up the wheels and probably put new tubes in. I run some older tires similar to yours, but generally just on field roads and not pavement or high speeds.

i will take a closer inspection of them when I get home tomorrow. I have a tire removal stand at home I have yet to bolt down and use, I have a few sets of tires I need to get after for my quad and a few MC wheels, These should maybe come apart then, No doubt I may mock them up just to see what she looks like with them mounted...or are they too desirable to say the restoration guys and move them along as is?

on second thought after reading Howards link, it looks like they should be proper for my 62...Hoping to mount them up this weekend and have a cruise throught the yard and snap some photos... These are exactly what I had been after...

Thirdly... I looked them over some more a little closer, One wheel has what appears to be a bullet hole through the rim, I cannot find any enterance through the rubber tho? either way I believe these tires are tubless, as air gushed out the bullet hole, and the second one I tried was leaking around the valve stem, so these tires will be coming off, and the wheels will be getting blasted/repaired where needed, and tubes added if I can fit them in there with the stiffer sidewalls..LOL. they may make it into a shop to do the mounting..here are a few more pics...

Bet when you get them apart they have tubes in them. The tubes are probably dry rotted by now. When apart I would weld the bullet hole shut before reassembling the tires.
