cross front discs from a90 yj dana 30 to my 74 dana 30 anyhng i need to know

    They won't work. The disk brakes for a YJ have a lug pattern of 5 on 4.5in a CJ is 5 on 5.5inch. I don't know about the calipers or brackets off the top of my head.

    Nothing will bolt on and would take tremendous re-engineering to make those parts work plus tons of fab work. Better off building from scratch.

    You need to look for a 76-86 CJ with discs. This will make your swap the easiest.

    YJ or TJ Dana 30 stuff is not very interchangeable with the CJ Dana 30 stuff. The axles "c"'s are different, plus the later Dana 30 uses unit bearing hubs , and the CJ versions do not, lots of differences.


    As stated above your gonna need to look for CJ7 disc brake stuff.

    Just to clarify my earlier post I meant building from scratch vs. trying to use the YJ/XJ stuff. The disc Dana 30 CJ stuff would be the path of least resistance. The other option would be using GM/fullsize Jeep calipers and mounts and building from there. LOTS of posts on this over the years.
