    That's a Johnson Viking Messenger 1, one of the first, if not the first, models of CB radios avaialble back in the 50's.

    Wow pretty neat...........5 watts?........Being an old Truck Driver I was pretty much into the 11 meter CB band........had all sorts of different CB's both Mobile and Base and several Linear amplifiers ....still have a few single side band radios but have not talked on them for years.........Nice Job on your Jeep!
