I swapped out the roof rack for something that can actually support weight. Then had a custom wind fairing made to get rid of the extra noise.

It is too early to tell what impact if any there is on fuel economy. The roof rack without the fairing did not seem to make any difference so I don't think the fairing will make much of one either.

The roof rails and rack are from Rocky Road Outfitters and the fairing was made by a local shop Baertrax.

Thanks, I have driven almost 14k miles since I picked it up last November. I had to have the transmission software updated in February due to a problem. But other than that is has been rock solid.

It is by far the most comfortable Vehicle I have ever owned. And it is a joy to drive.

There are a lot of them around Charlottesville. Looks like it will overtake Subarus as the vehicle of choice for this town. I like it, just it was not in the cards when I was looking at new cars.

She likes it. Alot of little stuff compared to the patriot she likes better.
had a guy asking me at work couple weeks ago what I thought of them and had to admit not much. Havent seen hardly any in for service yet. Only ones ive seen are for the trans software updates.

The look has grown on me, I like it... more distinctive than any others in it's class.
Reliability and comfort reports sound great. Fuel economy is similar to our S60 for the V6, and even better for the 4 cyl.
I even got my wife to go look at them, after hours of course, she isn't ready to actually talk to any salesmen yet. She's pretty well convinced that a KL will be her next vehicle, probably in the Dec 2015 timeframe.

Test drove the Cherokees with the Mrs. this evening, she is sold on them. Gonna talk her into the Trailhawk, found one in a dark green. It really is a nice riding vehicle. This will make all Jeeps, all the time in the driveway, for a total of five......
