Is there a difference in the proportioning valves for 4-Drum brakes vs disc/drum set-ups? I used to be 4-drum but now, I have discs, and need a booster and a prop valve and wanna make sure I get the right one/s

anything else I should know.... such as it plug and play or is there fiddling and such...

suggestions where to get a both... maybe as a kit/combo?

    thanks!!

Yes..........most new Proportioning valves will have built in residual valves to accommodate that need ...........drum versus disc or otherwise..........talk to the supplier your buying the components from.

Why do you need a booster?

So you should get the same master cylinder and prop valve from the donor, or replacement parts. Depending on where your booster will mount, you might need a different one. Some are bigger than others.

I did use a YJ booster and prop valve, worked fine with my front disq brake and rear drum.

And for the one that like to know why a booster, it's day and night both set-up, i never go back to drum with no booster!!!
