SM420 swap completed..We now have a driveable Jeep !

    Some of you may recall I started an SM420 conversion about 3 years ago.
    Due to the finances of a daughter starting college, a soft economy, some bad clutch luck, and my bad attitude, this project was shelved for a while.
    The project finally came to completion last weekend, and I'm now out driving the 2A around putting some miles on it.

    It's maiden off-road run will be in a couple weeks, so hopefully all goes well at that time.

    I'm in a bit of a similar situation with my JEEP.

    Maybe one of these days we'll get a chance to hit the trails.

    I started the same swap 13 years ago, turned into a complete body off resto/mod and at about 50% it went dead in the water.. I'm still hoping to get back to it soon! Great work on finishing!

    Good deal, man. Nice to feel success and accomplishment. Hoping to get back to my Tuxedo Park one day. I took it apart in '01. Stagnant since we moved. Bummed. You gave me some hope, though so, thanks.
