You can use YJ or CJ lower door hinges for the bottoms, My upper hinges, while they work and not items of beauty. The pictures below show a much better piece.

I got my top mounted, and am currently playing with my doors. One fits almost perfectly, the other sits about 3/4 of an inch too high on the front, and about perfected in the back.... Not happy.....

One more pic request. Long&Low, could I see what you did with the driver's side upper hinge? A frontal view? The PO has mine set up where the wiper motor cover is on top of the WS hinge leaving a big gap for rain to get in.

    Andrew,

I just joined. I found the forum looking for someone who knew exactly what window molding to buy. I recently bought a Meyers hardtop that didn't come with the back window or its molding. I called up the guys at Restoration Specialties & they asked for a part number. They also said they could look up your invoice to see what you ordered. If you don't have the part number & still would like to help me out by giving me your last name, here's my e-mail address jefmeller@sbcglobal.net so you don't have to broadcast it over the web. Also, if you still have the installation instructions for the Meyers hardtop, I would enjoy reading how it is done right. : )

    Thanks,

    Jeffro "

I want a hard top really bad but the only ones I've found were beat to hell. Plus I'd most likely need to modify to fit my extended cage. Looks great though!

hey longandlow, not to hijack, but how are you dealing with the different angle of the Yj windshield? From what I understand it leans back further than the cj windshield and the top portion is narrower. It looks like a pretty clean install from the outside! I miss my hardtop but it was in rough shape even before a giant icicle mangled it.
