Bought it off a local guy, this one is an MB top and uses a stock CJ (probably MB) inner W/S frame, but it was rotten beyond saving. It seems to be a little stronger then the M38 top. They pop up all the time here in MI it seems like, but almost all of them have the door handles knocked off and are missing door handle parts.

There was a mint perfect one that popped up at the same time as this one, but that guy wanted something like $500 IIRC

I swear I will scrape the time together to build me an AL hard top shaped like the soft ones. There was a local here who did it and it turned out sweet... AL Diamond plate Soft Top is what it looked like. I wanted it SO bad...

I like them because I don't tear them I'm the woods, but I really want a traditional soft top for spring and summer, if the aluminum one is on there I barely will drive it because its like a brass bull, its also a pain to get in and out of with the gate handles.

I was hoping to find a different way to keep the doors on this new one shut, but I think even if I were able to make the stock latches work they would pop open on the trails if I twist it up bad enough.

Hopefully the new plugs and slight timing bump helps the high speed stumble, also hoping the running rich is solved, it didn't appear to be running so rich looking at the exhaust.

Need to reinstall the CB, seat belts, work on the seats, try to get the overdrive taken off and some other miscellaneous things.

Insulating the top a bit for the snow run this weekend. It's going to be a cold one.
