Ok all here is the cab, I am going to restore, the best I can LOL.

Its a Mess, but I am a glutton for punishment :)

From all the research I have done, it looks to be a meyers? cab , with kelly doors?

any info from what you guys see would be great!

If you think they are Kelly doors, I would suspect that the whole cab is Kelly.

Pretty sure Meyer always used the stamped top, with double curved corners. This cab looks like it's built entirely from folded and single-curve corners.

Hey timgr, glad you poped in,

Ok what do you think? It looks like the cab on these two but with different doors?

Or it sorta looks like a half cab version of this maybe?

The doors look alot like these but yet still a little different , my windows are a little bigger, and the door line for strength are different.

Hey also all the seams have been filled in with bondo, and the back bottom section has a solid piece of metal tack welded and bondoed, to make the 3 section all one piece.

That is what I am getting ready to do is separate it all.

I will post pics when i get that far :)

Having ****ty built header leaking issues, so I am getting a set of tri five fender well headers , so the Boss is not happy ATM .

So the top will be really started hardcore next month.

This is what I did before I took a break to eat lunch.

Got it all separated, cut all the tack welds and what not.

Tomorrow, I am going to strip the paint, and smear some Naval jelly here and there.

The only thing I am going to different is, the center back section I am not going to use .

I am going to make one that fits in there , but going to be curved to except this back piece .

In looking at your pics, Im thinking now that MAYBE I could cut out and reassemble the panels around my roll cage to make a half cab work. If so, I'll be the happiest guy on the block, hahaha!

Yeah and if you want a cool way to seal around a roll bar going through a cab.

Buy a cheap shifter boot , split it, clamp to roll bar, then use the bezel that comes with it and attach that , to the cab.

Allows it to flex, and keeps water out.

make sure the split in the boot is facing down.

We do it to all cages that dont use plates , and go strait to the frame.

But works great on homemade blazer cabs, so would work great for you also.

Just throwing it out there :)
