Here is my problem. I am building a 69 postal that had anther make in it for an engine. I am putting a amc v8 into it. But my problem is the frame side mounts. I have some off a full size jeep is what i am assuming. they are basically the same width as the out side frame rails not small enough for the inside frame rails. So as far as i recall the 69 jeeps are the same frames as the amc just shorter overall length. Am i correct to assume the mounts i have are for a full size. but from pictures from ebay and others the mounts look the same size for what i can tell. I am thinking about cutting and welding the ones i have but if there are "bolt" in options i think i would go that way.
    thanks

If you can find CJ V-8 mounts then That would be easier and should bolt in by drilling some holes and maybe adding some support to the frame if necessary. One of the I-6 mounts are the same but one is different. Don't remember which side for sure but want to say passenger side is different.

Thanks for the reply Nick That was my understanding also. The more i looked last night i decided to go with MORE bomb prof mount. they seem to fallow my plans better with drag setup. I wanted to go to a built 360. hopefully this will keep it from jumping out of the frame.

frame reinforcment would be good in you're case, amc 360 have a lot of torque and bring lot of stress on our weak frame.
