Sounds nasty. Hope you get to feeling better soon. I always either hang my helmets/face shields up by the headband or lay them down, face up. Keeps from scratching the shields and, keeps the dirt out.

On a positive note, the eyes are the fastest healing part of the body.

worked through it today. slight headache , eye was STILL dilalated a bit ,,,and it was a bright out today ,
I now have full steering ,and a buddy droped by and the brakes were bled.
finally getting closer no pics today though

the welding helmet is a good idea
even better than a face shield as it covers EvERYthing .

I use the welding helmet conversion. I wear glasses and the helmet gives better protect than goggles.

Hate them, I had to have a nurse pry my open while they dropped them in. They plucked mine out with a needle, my eye has a permanent rust spot in it now.

I wear anti-splash goggles like they use in science labs, but even they dont keep everything out, i got a box of 25 for $25 so i use each pair about 4 times then get a new pair instead of cleaning them, i'll run out eventually though, i dred the day.

Why not invest in something better instead of wasting resources and money?

The rig is looking awesome. I'd like to come by and check it out some time. Any estimate when you are planning on getting it finished?
