My Jeep is sitting several inches low in the back, particularly on the passenger side. I am thinking of replacing the leaf springs. I use my Jeep for driving around town and driving in the fields. No heavy 4WD, just light duty 4WD.

Should I consider replacing the leaf springs all the way around?

What manufactures should I look at?

Where is the best place to buy them?

Replace them all. If the rears are sagging the fronts probably are as well. As far as brands go everyone has an opinion. I ended up with a pro-comp 2.5" lift based on price, warranty and the fact that the kit came with u-bolts and shocks for under $400.

Watch 4wd hardware / 4wheelparts or morris for specials

Are you thinking of lifted springs & bigger tires, or just stock replacements?
My Jeep has 2.5" BDS springs that work pretty good.

Yes, I would not mind lifting it up a little, an inch or two would be good. Of course due to the sag already, I do not know what regular stock leaf springs feel like or perform like. Maybe stock would be sufficient.

Skyjacker Softride springs will give about 2" of lift over stock, and are on the soft end of the spring stiffness scale...

When I replaced my sagging stock springs with 2.5 Rancho's, I gained 5-6 inches. Stock replacements may be all you need.

I got mine from Bob Supplee - 2 or 2 1/2" lift BDS springs and shocks. Bob worked with me to get U-bolts of the proper size; some kits include the the u-bolts, but they are of the wrong size for the old CJs. He asked me to measure my axles at the mounting locations, and sent the appropriate parts. Lots of other good options too, but this one was a great buy for me.
