If you clean your paint gun with lacquer thinner, wear eye protection when shaking the gun. Even though I was holding the lid it still popped off and sprayed my face. I flushed my eyes for 15 minutes and it still hurt like crazy.

Yeah, never can be too careful when using lacquer thinner or similar stuff.

But seriously, that is serious stuff when you get any kind of chemicals in your eyes. You definitely did the right thing flushing your eyes out with water for 15 minutes, but if you still have any pain, etc in your eyes I would go see a doctor asap as this can cause serious injury to your eyes.
    Hope you are doing well!

Thanks, I'm doing fine now. It scared me because it stung so bad and I couldn't open my eyes to find my way to the sink.

I just splurged on a DeVilbliss FLG-4 and OMG I love it. I had buyer's remorse after I ordered it -- sort of feeling guilty for spending that much money on something I don't need -- but it was way worth it. Paint guns are like any other tool, you get what you pay for.
